Personal Background

I grew up on a dairy farm in Dodge County in southern Minnesota.  Graduated from Mankato State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in geography.  After graduating I worked with the Olmsted County Consolidated Planning Department before becoming a Realtor in February of 1979.

My wife Lori and I have two children, a daughter in College and a son in High School.

Golf....and amazingly, even scored a Hole-In-One in 2002!

Claim to Fame:  1968...St Paul, MN.  At the ripe age of twelve I, along with several other music contestants, played accordion with the late Myron Floren, star accordionist on the Lawrence Welk Show.  Fond memory!
