Coldwell Banker Burnet’s “Find a Home” is easy to use.  Here you will find information on all Minnesota and western Wisconsin properties that are included in the Regional Multiple Listing Service.  Find A Home is convenient and easy to use, allowing you to select a few search criteria or as many as you wish to find the property that’s just right for you. 

• The easiest way to search for a specific property is to use the Speed Search on the upper right-hand side.  To use this, enter either:
  • The complete address.
  • Or the house number.
  • Or the street name.

• To find a larger inventory of properties for sale, use the map on the left-hand side and do the following:
  • Click on an area of Minnesota or western Wisconsin where you would like to find properties for sale.
  • Click on one or more counties.
  • Then click one or more cities.

• Or you can scroll down the list of cities on the middle of this page, and select one or more cities.

• Then beneath the list of cities, you can search by the following criteria:
  • Type of property:  single family home, commercial, multi-family home, or land.
  • Price range.
  • Number of bedrooms.
  • Number of bathrooms
  • And number of garage stalls. 

• Watch the box on the right-hand side with the “Listing Count.”  Every time you select a criteria, the number in the box will change, reflecting the number of properties that meet your criteria. 

• If you would like to start a new search, simply click on the “Clear Search” button that is located under the “Listing Count.” 

• When you finished selecting home search criteria, click on the “Go” button on the middle of the page, and you will be directed immediately to the Property Search Results with information and photographs on all properties that match your criteria.

• If you want to narrow your search even further, click on “More Search Options” next to the “Go” button and you will be able to search by:
  • Minimum finished square feet.
  • Type of listing, such as all listings, new listings, condominiums, and upper bracket Previews®-Distinctive Homes.
  • Style of single-family home.
  • Interior features.
  • Exterior property features.
  • And acreage. 

• In addition to searching by map on the left-hand side, you can click on the tabs above the map and search by:
  • School district.
  • Complete address, city, or zip code.
  • Area name or area Multiple Listing Service number.
  • And property identification (either the property’s Multiple Listing Service number or Home InfoLine number). 

• Another tab on the left-hand side is a radius map that allows you to search for all properties that are for sale in your desired area.  To use this, do the following:
  • Click on a specific area where you would like to search. 
  • Then scroll down the list of miles to specify the radius around that area— from one mile to 100 miles—that you would like to search for properties.
  • The radius map will then display home icons that represent actual homes for sale.
  • Click on any icon you wish and you will be able to see detailed information and photos of that property.
