Personal Background

Greg has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and Business Administration from SCSU, and did post graduate work at University of Minnesota. He was an active member of Theta Chi Fraternity and was instrumental in the purchase of their first 'Frat House' in St. Cloud in 1966, which sparked his interest in real estate. He was a teacher and coach in the Minneapolis and Watertown Public Schools from 1966-78. He was president of Ja-Ha Corporation, an agricultural land, building and equine management company for several years, until he began his real estate career in 1985. He continued to manage the farm and livestock until he successfully divided it into parcels and sold them.

Greg and Judy, purchased a parcel of land in Excelsior and subsequently developed it into a "neighborhood community" with 23 building lots and sold all single family homes priced from $375,000 to $800,000 within 2.5 years. This involved securing financing for the project, working with the City of Chanhassen, development, engineering, planning, working with contractors, marketing, sales, and arranging financing for buyers.

Greg and his wife, Judy, who is also his real estate assistant, have been married for 48 years. Together they have raised four children and are proud grandparents of nine active grandkids, four boys and five girls. They have lived in Minnesota all of their lives, have developed land into neighborhoods, designed, contracted and remodeled several homes for their own use and for sale, and are currently residing in the Plymouth/Wayzata area. When Greg is not working for his customers, he enjoys woodworking, gardening, hunting, fishing and travel.
